Resources for Rare and Live Performances

Music:

MP3/Windows Media Audio/liquid audio:

RARE LAMBCHOP MP3s: Each month a rare or live MP3 will be made available through a link only available to those on the CUD list. To join CUD, scroll down the main page of this website to sign up for CUD. Each month you will receive an email with instructions on how to download the mp3, as well as some background on the song. This feature started in October 2001.

Merge Records
The Merge website has mp3s of "Grumpus", "What else could it be" and "Up with People" (live) on their website.
Real audio:

The official Lambchop homepage has several real audio clips from their Fall '98 European tour. These change every few months.

Liveconcerts.com has a link to the in-studio performance and interview from their KCRW appearance on Feb. 1, 1999 during a brief California tour. Just click to the page, click 'studio' under archives, and use the scroll bar at the bottom of the page to go through the hundreds of performances.

Lambchop's appearance on KCRW's "morning becomes eclectic" from
March 18, 2002 can be listened to here

Downloadable/Streaming Video:

Virtue TV presents Lambchop's concert from October 12th, 2000 at Royal Albert Hall, London. Available in Streaming Real Video and Windows Media.

Bootlegs of Live Recordings:

First of all, here is the band's recording policy according to Jonathan Marx:

1. if you tape the show, don't sell the recording (although it's fine to trade).
2. if our performance sucks, please do us a favor and just trash the recording.
3. if our performance is brilliant (yeah, right), please do us a favor and send us a copy. hey, it's the least you can do, really.

However, by no means do the members of Lambchop nor myself guarantee the quality of any live recordings available from the folks at the links below. This is just for those of you who can't get enough. I do not have these, so please contact the persons at the links below for more information.

BY ALL MEANS, DO NOT PAY FOR BOOTLEGS!!! IF THE PERSON IS JUST IN IT FOR THE MUSIC, THEY WILL ALWAYS SWAP. Even if you don't have a massive collection of boots, there is always something they want, so be creative.
